2007 Camero Concept
Its a concept, but i hope they bring it back. Chevy needs something to compete against the Mustang.

there is no way the cobalt is going to compete w/ the mustang. and the vette is a different class of car. chevy needs something to go against the gto and the stang, and whatever dodge is cooking up w/ their hemmie.

Gms mustang fighter is the GTO
Comaro is not coming out, they already stated that

of all the marquis they should probably kill first, pontiac is one of them. the GTO does not live up to its roots like the mustang is poised to. i was excited about the mustang, the design is awesome! the GTO is bleh. it might perform well, but its definitely not the complete package like the GT and GT500 could be. grand am/sunfire/solstice...all pretty mediocre cars that probably wont be missed.
i dont want to hijack the thread, but GM is definitely going about their brand strategy all wrong. IMO.

Hummmmmmmmmm............. did any one else notice the date on that post, OCTOBER 2004, I'm thinking that is old news.
The GTO is the quiet man's vette. Lots of people buy the GTO because its not as flashy and doesn not scream LOOK AT ME, yet it still has the performance. That image of a new Camaro is badass though, I'd drive it.

That pic was some kids college project or something. We talked about this for awhile somewhere but yeah they wanted to bring it back for 07 but just can't do it. No rwd plant that could house such a project at the time plus GM's busy making trucks no one's buying. Not a bad concept though.
