Pipeing!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2.25" Very Loud

Hey guys and girls, got my custom pipeing done with a universal muffler. I got 2.25" run from the cat back with the resonator removed. I must say, it sounds bad ***. I really recomend it

removing the resonator on a NA inline 4 makes it sound like a can of pissed off bees in a coffee can. Try having someone else drive your car while you drive next to it and listen, and tell me it still sounds the same. Theres a reason why most aftermarket cat back systems have 2 pre silencers (resonators) before the muffler. Then again, the fact that it sounds like *** is my opinion, like its my opinion that watching golf on TV is boring as hell.. wheres the fucking remote?!?!

*edit* To gest the best sound out of an NA inline 4, you should silence the exhaust as much as you can without hurting performance while letting the intake noises dominate.

deeper at low RPMs, yes, but how often are you driving/racing around at 3K?

The reason it sounds good is because I put the silencer in it. I also let my friend drive it and I have to say that it put a smile on my face, thats just my opinion!

I don't have a resonator with my custom catback either... now I just don't like how loud it is. I'm thinking about buying the magnaflow resonator and having it attached to my system just to quiet things down...

Actually buddy your wrong there...no resonator for me and it sounds far from what you described. That whole rattle/lawn mower exhaust sound is non-existent. I got a sound clip to prove it...just give me your e-mail address.

I have the same setup on my car with a magnaflow muffler- it has a deep tone through 6000 rpm. I know the sound of bees farting through a straw and my car definitely doesn't sound like that.

I have the same piping with a 5zigen fireball exhaust, sounds good, but the bad thing is it just attracts the attentions from cops... the shop that had it done was behind the police department, I was just so scared to drive it home...
