To Grey or whoever else changed their shift ****
Well, after looking on Club Si, I had to take off my center console, remove the shift boot and then I finally could reach the clips to take the **** out.
After going through hell putting the boot back on, I can say that this was definitely worth it. Fits Perfectly. Since no one on Club RSX would sell me theres, I had to drive 40 miles to the nearest Acura dealer, order it, and it finally came in today. Came to 29 and some odd change.

Wahoo

<< its hard as hell but yeah..squeeze the silver ring, and pull like hell on the stock ****...it will come off >>
yeah that describes it perfectly. i figured that out when i was "removing" my center console (the console doesnt really come out, it gets stuck.. or now that i think about it, maybe that was because i had the seat all the way up to get to the screws)

it is MUCH easier to do on a 2k1, took me about ten minutes, tops. maybe that was cause i already knew how to take the center console out? and toastyghosty's DIY page helped a lot too. i have the aluminum shift ****, and i love it. gets a little cold when it's cold out though.
