I like them and i don't, the sedan looks pretty decent, i like the tails alot more, i dont like the mirrors on the door of the sedan, put them back where they should be. i really like the headlights on both, very evil looking, the 2 dr i like, but then i see other pics from different angles and i don't like, i guess i will have to see in person to make my decision.

i can't believe how much people still keep on bashing this car. it's sorta like a defense mechanism to justify the fact that their 7th gen will be "old style".
8th gen > 7th gen, no if's and but's
navi is sooooo nice, the steering wheel has more control features, interior is HOT. tails look good too on the sedan. so basically exterior and interior wise, it's BETTER than our cars.
btw: HIDS, leather available? i thought some of the pics i've seen on the net are leather. hope they are.

2006 civic news
I have a friend that works for a dealer here in San Diego that just test drove all the new civics this week up in Pamona. Heres the low down.... Prices are going to range 14,000 to 25,000. The Dx,Lx,Ex will all have a SOHC Vtec motor with 140 horse power. The Si will have a SOHC Vtec also but with 200 horse power. Probably a 2.0 liter no K20 sorry guys. He looked under the hood it was only a SOHC. But he did say that the cars are all great on acceleration, handling, power , and torque was awsome he said. Oh yeah and the Si will come with the option for navigation. He also said that they were getting their first sedans in at the end of August or the first few days of September. The coupes will be there in mid to late September and the Si will not be available until November.

1. Aint no way the price for an Si is gonna be $25,000. No way. Period.
2. The Si has a K20 in it. It will be a 1.8 liter.
3. The Si may be available in late November, but more than likely the December timeframe.

as for the rest of it, they will not charge more than even probably 18-20k for the Si. and the Si should have a DOHC. it'd be hard for them to get 200hp out of a small 4 cylinder SOHC n/a. and the navi will be available for both the Si and the EX.

Look my friend has worked for honda for almost 5 years he has the brochure for the damn cars and it says as follows and he is gonna take some pictures of the specs and email them to me for all you non believers. Here it is Si model will be 21,000 to 24,000 depending if you get navigation. It will have a 2.0 liter SOHC i-Vtec motor with 197-205 horse power. It has 139lbs of torque at 7800 rpms. The EX,Lx,DX will have a 1.8 liter SOHC V-tec with a 140 horse power. The only new motor that they will be releasing will be a Dohc i-Vtevc 1.3 liter motor for the hybrid civic.

wow the sohc 200hp engine must have some major work done to it to make that much power. I have some engine mods on mine and it barely breaks 145.
the sedan looks super ugly the tail lights are gross did anyone notice that huge trunk lip on the sedan not to mention the passenger side window has another small window with it
I would never buy it or trade for it 7 gens are still the best

wow 24k. Might as well just get a used s2000 for that price lol. i'm starting to agree with some people that honda's are overpriced for what they offer. There becoming the mercedes of economy cars. You pay a lot for the name and not much in content.
