Changing Wheels/Tires
i read the manual, and it says that in order for special mechanisms to the car to work, the wheel/tire should be the same just in case u change it.
so for everyone who had wheel modifications, will it affect ur driving situations or ur cars special features? ie ABS?
i drive an EX by the way.

If you use the online Tire Calc on this site you should be able to get a larger tire and rim combo that
will come as close to the factories as possible. That shoudn't mess things up too much.

Should only affect your speedometer reading if the wheel diameter is changed. ABS is not affected. I haven't noticed any problems with my change in tire size other than my speedometer is off by maybe 1.6 mph per 100 mph. The car does ride and handle a heck of a lot better with my 16's than with the factory wheels and tires!
No problem! If you want to go with 16's then 215/50-16 is the best match, but your limited on the choice of tires (3) and that's pretty wide. most go with 205/55-16 or 205/50-16. I like the 55 wall since there are more choices in brands and there is a little more rubber on the rim. You need it in BFE where I live in Texas !! If you go with 17's then 215/45-17 or 205/45-17 is the closest match to overall diameter.
