I'm referring to the 2001 Mustang Bullitt, which is based on said movie starting Steve Macqueen.

As for the movie, it BLOWS!!! It's your typical 60's "lack of music to build supsense movie" meaning everything takes for ever to occomplish and its all quiet. I guess back then suspensfull music had a different meaning

As for the Mustang, my roomie owns one

It's black w/ a 5speed, and a BBK CAI . It's a nice little car, I wish it would have a little more torque like my 95 z28 used to have, but he has said he has stayed right beside a few LS1 automatics, so all in all its an impressive car

As for the civic.. its a stock civic with rims
It looks pretty decent but im not a fan of silver
Bullit is a pretty cool movie with an ill chase scene... i put it in a close second place to the chase scene in Ronin

ronin was good..but the fact that bullet was made in 1968 says alot IMO....plus..that was actually steve McQueen driving...

sorry if you all think that civic is dumb...i just love silver cars..and especially dig dark wheels with a polished lip..

The chase seen was "amusing", but you have to take into account I'm an 80's kid and I compare old movies to what I see now-a-days. Having to sit thru a hour's worth of lousy plot to see a 5 min chase scene was too much! Both my roomie (who owns a 2001 Bullitt) and I wanted to pop in Gone in 60 seconds to try to make up for a IMO horrible movie

I'm with Screamin on the movie Bullit. It is a freaking classic ! It was the mark that all other car chase scenes from 1968 and on were judged by! And Steve McQueen is the MAN !! As far as Gone in 60 seconds... talk about a freaking disappointment! That movie $ucked ! It probably took them 10 days to film that weak plotted movie.

Yeah...there are a heck of a lot better chase scenes now adays, but you got to remember that movie was filmed in 1968 and for that time, it was the chase that all others after it were judged by. thank goodness the movie industry has come a long freaking way since then. I remember siting at the theater for the original opening for Star Wars, and thinking this is the baddest $hit I've ever seen! Now it's just a mark in Sci-Fi history.

Screamin - no I never saw LeMans. There was an hour special on E! last month about Steve McQueen, they said that the movie LeMans broke his a$$. Apparently it took years to complete, and he was never satisfied with the plot. They filmed nearly 2 years of racing, him doing all the driving, just to get the footage he wanted. He funded the whole movie out of his pocket so that he could control everything about it.

One last thought about the movie Bullitt.

It wasn't the lack of visual or musical effects that makes me think it was a horrible movie. Yes the chase scene was a first and it was decent. But if you weigh in how friggen looooong the movie takes to develop, it really brings the movie down. I just lost all interest, and by the end of the movie was I saying to myself, FINALLY ITS OVER!

Now where's my riddlin?

screaminDOHC: Thanks for the props on my car. Yeah, those pictures are pretty old. I really need to update them. I have dropped it and put an exhaust system in since then. As for tinting the windows, I'm not a big fan of tint. I like the clean look of not having any. And the stickers on my car are about to get scraped off this weekend. They just distract too much and attract the attention of 5.0.
I know with gunmetal rims, people either love or hate em. I just thought they matched perfectly with the SSM color...
