Hey everybody,

I keep getting a loud screeching noise when I turn my wheels all the way to the left or right, on my civic sedan. I know this means something is hitting it's threshold, maybe something to do with the power steering. My concern is that it wasn't happening until just now and it doesn't happen on my other civic coupe. On my coupe, I can turn the wheels all the way with no noises. Trying to restrict myself in the sedan makes it extremely difficult to get out of the tight *** parking spaces, where I live.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how to fix it?

You mean it's screeching when it's standing still and you turn the wheel all the way?

Check the powersteering fluid level. You might even try changing it. If it persists, the pump is going. If you are out of warranty, run it till it dies and then replace it. Other than being noisy, it'll likely continue to work for some time.
