so, whaddya think?
hey guys..
what do you guys think about this...
there's a local guy saying that he want to sell/swap his rsx (base 5 speed) with a civic...
his rsx is 2002 with 30K on it.....pretty much stock with neuspeed spring, if im not wrong..
do you guys think it's worthed if i swap my vic (02 ex with 38K) with his rsx.....maybe +$1000?

cool thing is that, even in 2005...my KBB civic price is still 12270 (private)...
his rsx is 14740 (private)....in the thread on my local forum, he said that he's willing to sell it for 14000 straight...which make sense, right?

RSX has practically the same suspension setup, and is heavier, with only a slightly better engine.
Also you would have a lower model RSX as opposed to the top of the line Civic.

hmm....the true thing is that...it's a base rsx...
but again, what's base RSX doesn't have compared to EX civic?
i think it's mileage still in lower 30K.......
pretty much......IF i trade it in....i probably just gonna install short shifter and head unit.........that's probably it......i definitely, as with the vic, won't look into any engine upgrade.......

base rsx is pretty fast compared to the civic, even the auto version. If I had a relatively stock civic I would trade for sure. But not my civic I have now. Too much into it. Just make sure the rsx wasn't raced alot and has everything working. At least test drive and ask what maint stuff he did.

My Ex girlfriend had an S and the only thing I really enjoyed about the car was the motor to be honest...
I know civics stock interior isnt great but I love my custom work..
Personally I would stick with the civic unless your going to mod that engine

Does it have the uprgraded leather seats???
My friend has one, but it is an automatic, if i were you i would probably go with it.
I made a big mistake when i got my car, well i still go back and forth. Before i got my brand new o4 ex sedan last year, my aunt was selling her 02' rsx, and i could have had that, my grandfather was getting the car for me, so even though it was more expensive, he likes to keep things in the family. Well my friend had just got his rsx, so i did not want to get the same car as him, and i figured a brand new vic would last longer than a two year old car, i also have a thing for sedans. After it was too late i found out it was a type s and not base model, and i almost shat myself.
