The Cruiser Shield plate doesn't work. I've had my clears on forever (had blue before that too), not to beat toll or red light cameras, all cosmetic really. But I would still get bills in the mail from the 407, which is our camera-monitored toll highway here in Ontario.

OK, besides the Cruiser Shield, has anyone had any good experiences with the "Photo Blocker"? 
My step dad sprayed it on his plates and my mom took a pic of it, all you see is a white blurry box. I would imagine it does this for all cameras, but you never know, until you go through a red light or toll! Would'nt suck if you went hrough a carwash or something and it wore off just enough to make out your plate number!

THOSE EBAY ONES ARE A JOKE!!! you can pic those up at kragens/checkers/shucks. ALL THEY DO IS KEEP YOUR PLATES CLEAN!!! There are similar ones that are supposed to blur your plates, but those have ridges on the inside of them.

tolls suck my gf lives on an island 5 min from a major city on the other side of a bridge that goes up a dollar every 2 years or she is 15 minutes from a crap town. but there are always chp on our bridges behind the booths. so i will just stick to my plan of counterfiets since they have those gloves on and cant feel the money jk

Rep Power: 336 it really wouldn't be all that hard to cut a thin slit infront of the license plate on the trunk lid. Cut out a piece of alumminum and attach string to the top 2 corners and attach em to a motor.
Press a button to send a 12v. signal to the motor, motor turns and lets string loose...piece of aluminum slides down to cover license plate.
Now i don't know how this will work with the front. hmm..

A company called autoloc makes xeactly what your talking about....I dont see it on their site cause I think it is a new product....Its calledthe "Hidden License Plate kit"...Its advertised in the new import tuner
