i do lol. ski mask.
heres some real helpful tips:
-if you wear caps, you might be in luck
-fold down your sun screen visor so it could block your face more
-dont gangsta' lean... the taller you are and the higher your sitting up, its about impossible for that cam to snap a clear shot of your face with the visor down
-applying a windshield banner or tint a certain amount of inches of tint on the top front windshield can help
-by tinting your windows, it leaves the dome room darken and harder to catch whose inside...therefore, more black - more difficult to view
-if those spray ons and license plate covers are illegal, use the spray on your glasses/shades/part of the windshield (LOL)
-dirty your front/rear plate so it looks like you havent cleaned your car for a long time. of course, itd be obvious if your driving a waxed up vehicle with muddy plates. this would be a great idea if you have an off-roading type vehicle.
-try to get license plate frames that are thick. if you can get one that can make your "5" look like an "S", that could be confusing. by having a frame that can block the top and bottom portion of your digits, it could make the "5" look like an "S". "2 - Z" "1 - I" etc

Anybody ever seen them or heard of them... lasers? Ie: a friend was telling me there is this device that will post a laser grid across your licence plate at a flick of a switch and your licence plate will come back white cause of the crystals or something in the paint.

I thought of doing this for a project at school. My friend and I drow up a schematic and everything. But never got around to it. Since i am back in school, I might do it. all it is, is a plate that covers the plate when I go thought the toll way with a push of a button and then the plate goes back up when I am a 1/2 mile away.

there is a hinge kit they sell for lowrider trucks on bags, so they can put the plate hanging from the bumper and hit a button to fold up the plate before you drop the car to the pavement. look aroudn online for it, i saw it on TRUCKS! 2 years ago probly. with a lil mods it can work on ur car or u can just hang it from the bumper and shave ur trunk. they might make a car kit too. its definately worht w/e money it costs though. and let me know if u find somehting cus im interested also

I saw a guy with an car @ the sema show in AC that had a hideaway plate that came out of the top of the back bumper. It said just for show but I guess u could drive around with it out. Another option would be to get a motorized plate rotator that rotated between two or three liscense plates(knight rider). But I heard that the spray works. $#@! Big brother

My sister works at a courthouse over here and says that the spray works real good. The picture comes out all extra bright so all you see is a white blur. When i have some time i'll pick some up myself
thanx...but again....im looking for the motorized kits....not the spray........and not for trucks either...allthough it was the right idea............does anyone out there know?
hmmm the two that were posted in links a few posts back seem pretty bulky.
this is an idea i just came up with in about two seconds lol
find a hinged plate holder like that on a chevelle or on a jeep wrangler ( if its spring loaded cut the springs off) then screw in the back of the hinge and put the plate on the other side. now to keep it closed and to close it when its open is the tricky part. off the top of my head you can attach a string or metal wire to the plate and through a hole in the trunk (behind plate) then attach the other end to a rc car motor and put that on a switch so you can wind up the string (close hinge) or give slack (open hinge). of course thats a rough idea and would need a lil more thinking and testing to get right. another way could maybe be to find a spare E-brake wire at a junkyard (or hood latch wire) and connect that to the lower portion of the hinge (because it has limited travel, use geometry to get it right lol) then run that to the front of the car or near your seat and push/pull to open/close the plate hinge. another way could be to hook up an actuator but thats a buttload more cuting and modification. other than that..... maybe you could..... cut into the trunk and make it so a sheet of metal slides down in front of the plate (with diff. numbers or just blank) but thats alot more work for a more obvious method. remember that a cop who knows his **** might see this and figure it out if he decides too look in your trunk for some reason.
now.....i think im gonna get working on the idea with the wrangler hinge and the e-brake cable. seems easy enough.
