Question leasing a car...

alright so my parents are allowing me to get a new car
they gave me 10 grand a couple years ago for a car but my dad took it back and bought a truck and gave me his 7thgen sedan

so they owe me one i guess hahahhaha
anyways my dad is letting me sell the car.
i have an 01 sedan with 48000 miles
i was just wondering how a lease would work

honda is doing some nice lease offers on 05 s2ks right now
299 a month for 36 months and 3000 down.

if i decide to do this how much do you think it would be to buy the car after the lease is over?

would it even be a good idea to do a lease and buy the car later? i plan on keeping the car for a while.
