I thought the book was a joke. Thats why we have this forum is to learn how to do stuff. I cant believe i paid $40 for someone to tell me that upgrading the rims on your civic will make it look better or telling me how to paint my drums. What a rip

I haven't seen the Hayne's manual yet but I think there are two. Is there not one for general maintenance and **** and one other one for doing up the car?

they finally opened an autozone in my town (closest one was about 30 minutes away). i hate it when i go in there right now. i don't expect to get 'welcomed' at an auto parts store. i just want to go in, find what i want, and get out. last time i went in there, i was looking for a resistor for my turn signals, and i was welcomed by two people. one of them couldn't understand why i was wanting to buy a resistor to slow down the turn signal lights (mine hyperblink cause of Amber LEDs i put in due to the sedan tails GB). this character bought the ebay hyperblinker cause he WANTED a faster blinker! on my way back to my car, i spotted his 90s corolla that had an off-color fender on one side, and missing a fender on the other side, self tint job, and a cracked grille. i know it's his cause it's been parked there quite often, and always there when he's there
sorry to post *****, but that's just my take on autozone. but i have to try and get in there and check out that book. cause i know chilton's hasn't made one yet, have they?

never heard of helm. have haynes, chilton too i believe, haynes has misprint. says that d17a2 is non vtec and d17a6 is vtec. anyway, it was wrong obviously, and it is a good book to have for diy. not a joke. covers everything literally. i have one for all cars i owned.
