well before 4k i believe. on a dyno, the power drops off like a mountain peak right after 6100. so i think its at 4k and not 6200. my opinion. don't hate me for it, just a thought.

You should be shifting AFTER peak power is reached. Since the Torque Curve is a CURVE, there will be a point, past the peak power where Torque in the current gear will equal the torque in the next Highest gear (at a lower RPM). That is your best shift point.
