your peak hp is 115 at 6100 rpms. so there is no point of going past 6100. your power just dies after that. hope that helps

fixeruper is an unknown quantity at this point

red line is 6800, and its still ok to go past that when racing for when you go into the next gear

it's not all about where peak power is.... ok, lets say you shift at 6200 in 1st, since you mentioned 6100, I assume D17A1, that would put you below 4000RPM.... so would the car be making more power before 4KRPM? or after 6200RPM?

well before 4k i believe. on a dyno, the power drops off like a mountain peak right after 6100. so i think its at 4k and not 6200. my opinion. don't hate me for it, just a thought.

You should be shifting AFTER peak power is reached. Since the Torque Curve is a CURVE, there will be a point, past the peak power where Torque in the current gear will equal the torque in the next Highest gear (at a lower RPM). That is your best shift point.
