Ive gotten 40mpg on the highway on multiple occasions. so if you were to drive with a full tank going at 40mpg, you could get 528 miles per tank if you were to run the tank dry.

get the 5 spd. I drive about 700 miles a week too for work and I have an LX 5 spd. The gas mileage is great, and theyre WAY more fun than an automatic. That way, when youre out cruising, at least you wont FEEL as slow.....but youll still be slow. haha. I love my 5spd, not a day goes by that i think to myself....."man i shouldve got the auto". lol On the other hand, my girl got an auto, and now that weve been doing stuff to it, shes kicking herself in the ***. haha. 5spd ALL THE WAY!!!

um...your tranny takes 15% more gas when its an automatic. meaning less gas mileage. btw i get 40 mpg on the highway cruisin at 80 easy. ex 5sp. i'm at 3800 rpms at 80. sticks always get better mileage.
haha, im so used to the stick too. When I was driving my girl's car, i kept slamming the brake pedal when i was coming to a stop because I was so used to pushing in the clutch, and the autos have HUGE brake pedals. lol
