put down the tools and walk away from the car....now. Have a profesional take care of it for you, its quite obvious that you don't have a clue what your doin. I'm not being a ***, i'm being serious.
i dont have a digital camera to post any... if you look at the diy for the cai its like the first damn step to just remove the screws.. they're just too tight and im afraid to break the plastic housing.

wow... am I the only one who knows what he talking about??? Are you using the right size socket? Make sure the socket is right and ratchet is turning the right way, and it should come off. If you can't get these bolts out, good luck with the rest of the upgrades.... Wait till you wanna get the header off.

damn so much wrong here.. first off why are you seperating the filter box? You should be loosening the clamp underneath the filterbox that is holding the entire assembly only the throttle body. Also there are 2 or 3 bolts around the filter box that should be removed too. Its not that hard just look.
Turn the screw/bolt counter-clockwise. There is absolutly no reason u should brake anything, unless u r tightning it. If the screw/bolt is stripped then do as the other guys said and drill it out. Remember to use a ratchet instead of a screwdriver as u can get better leverage with a ratchet.
lol i just realized something. Those screws on top don't come out, sure u can losen them but they don't come out. They will remain in the cover. But seriously if u can't figure this out, it's obviously to complicated for u. and u should get professional help.

show us where in this photo..
btw, 10mm is the size you want/need. lube the bolts if necessary. i hope you werent using standard sizes as standard sizes are more for american built products
yea..i had the same problem too. the screws on my air filter box were screwed on so tight, i couldnt remove them with a screwdriver or a ratchet.
I had the shop do it when i got my oil changed and i told them not to screw them back on so tight

again, everyone... 10mm. its either from using cheap @ss tools or standard sizes. how hard is it to remove a bolt? lube it with wd-40 or anything and then proceed. my pet monkey can do it, fellows
