So instead of a resistor...
it's an old circuit board that acts like a big resistor !
Stick to well-known tuning companies with proven results. In-house dynos are usually a good indicator of who's serious about tuning. You get what you pay for.
In addition, eBay stuff like this is crap, unless you're definitley buying something used, and the seller isn't out there to rip you off.

Nothing works better than a Chris except a Honda.

I could sell you a slightly modified flux capacitator. It will get you down the quarter mile in no time!
The Stage1 unit and Stage2 are designed strictly for the vehicles stated in the description, if you are looking for one for a different car please email us.

They stopped making them a long time before 05... so the first line already contradicts itself...

hahaha oh so it's the same as the resistor! The only catch is, you're not really getting colder air, just fooling the ecu so it dumps more fuel in. You waste gas, get more carbon deposits, and more hp yay!

In other words, it does something that can be dangerous and damaging to the engine. By fooling your intake temp sensor into thinking the air is colder than it really is, the ECU will not pull timing due to nearing detonation or hotter temperatures. It will also use a different fuel map, which might give you a couple extra hp, but at the cost of fuel efficiency and again, possible damage.
