Bought a 2001 civic, few questions.

I bought a 2001 silver coupe LX a few weeks ago, and I have a few questions. One, it doesn't have splash guards in the fenders in the rear. Where can I get these and how much do they normally cost? Also, my door handles aren't painted, how hard would this be to do? If I do it myself, would it match the paint well? One more, there is this horrible rattle coming from somewhere in the back whenever I hit a slight bump. I know it's not the license plate, spare tire, or fold down seat. What else should I look at? Thanks.

rattling, well, 01's-02's had that problem, you'll have to isolate it and find out because that could be any number of things.

I'm pretty sure you can buy painted door handles, and painting them won't match the paint exactly.

As far as the mudflaps, here you go:H and A accessories has them

Thanks, but I'm not talking about mudflaps, I'm talking about inside the wheel well, that piece is missing. I can take pics if you'd like.

Rears don't have splash guards, only the fronts.

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
They have painted door handles and go for around $40 each.
Just look up your year but in EX trim or else it won't show up.

the inside rear bumper behind the wheel is hollow in our car, my sister's 01 Accord is the same thing, but buying a set of accessory splash guard will solve the problem.

Ok thanks, not really a problem, just thought they were missing. So no one knows what the rattle is?

No, I'm pretty sure it's coming from the back, its hard to find though because I can only hear it when driving. Could it be the third brake light hitting the rear windshield? I noticed theres some space inbetween.

Put one of your friends in the trunk and drive around the block a few times. If he can't find it, do what I do, turn the music up louder.
