do u people really think anyone would put in a d16 swap. i shouuld have said nip insted of jap but oh well. i have much better things to do than try to prove myself to a bunch of magizen racers peace

And yes, I do believe that you're actually dumb enough to do a D16 swap. There's no way that a D16 head is going onto a D17 block. Even if it did - why? How else would you put a distributor in your car? The D17 is a distrubutorless system - direct ignition. What ECU are you using? There's no way it's a DC2R ECU. No amout of Hondata flashing, or anybody else out there, can get that thing to work right on a SOHC motor. And there's no way anything is gonna rev to 10,800. Espically some street car. What cam are you running? What valves, springs and retainers? Why would you even want to try to rev that high anyway? You won't be making any power on a little 1.6L or 1.7L SOHC motor. Just make nothing but noise.
Why don't you take some better pictures of the engine bay for some? Some pictures of the block? Some pictures of the ECU?
I wouldn't be surprised if the guy that wrote the little "article" is some ricer moron from your circle of friends, trying to give you some kind of credit.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much when it comes to building a motor. But even a monkey can see that there's no way that any of this is phyisically possible.
