Why are hillbillies so ignorant?
So I was pulling into the Giant Eagle parking lot to buy a Mother's day card/gift for my mom with my 2003 civic with an oem lip kit, rims, and a drop when some hillbillie in his beat up ford pickup pulls up next to me.
"hey sonnie, thats an intersting automobile you have them" - him
"ok then" - me
"so, your car isnt as fast as those funny cars, is it?"
"um no....."
"yeah, those 4-cylinder cars will never be able to account for much being that the big v8s will always dominate them"
(i continue to walk inside as he follows me and continues to ramble)
"um...ive seen plenty of fast 4-cylinder cars. you just need to put on a turbo/supercharger and they can compete with the big block cars any time. the 4-cylinder cars are often much ligeter giving them an advantage as well"
"well, your car will never be able to compete with those 4-5 sec funny cars. they completely dominate the track"

at this point i couldnt hold it in anymore and just burst out laughing and walked inside. lol stupid hillbillies

kinda off topic but, i was out in columbus in april and went to one of those giant eagle stores....damn, that is one nice supermarket! clean, huge, and they had like a restaurant inside! i was impressed.

And if they want to talk racing, mention that honda dominated formula 1 for years. Or how about IRL where domestic car makers can't touch the honda boys. Here's a little headline from IRL dated april 30th this year:
Dan Wheldon extended his IndyCar Series points lead Saturday with a dramatic repeat victory at Honda's Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan, posting his third win in four events this season and leading a first-through-sixth sweep of the results by Honda-powered drivers and teams.
Also, at the moment 6 of the top 9 drivers are driving honda powered cars. 1st and 2nd place are honda powered cars.
