Yes I hate domestics, but....

I have hated domestics for many years and I have my reasons and I am not here to start a hate thread but when I seen this new v12 quad turbo chrysler I crapped my self, and I have to say that this definitly changes things for me on there cars!
ps. probably a repost but this car is sick!

Why would it change your opinion on their cars? This is exactly what they want you to think. They build vipers and this $hit so that you think they are cool, and then they sell you crappy neons. When they are on a budget, they suck. Plain and simple. This car is a piece-o-crap just like every other gas guzzling flashy pooper they have produced in the last 50 years. If you want a good example of a domestic sports car which is a true masterpiece then look at the Corvette. It has equal or superior performance to cars costing many times what it costs. Neither are my cup of tea, but if your looking for domestic prowess...steer clear of Chrysler.

I'm not necessarily saying that car is a piece of ****. What I'm saying is that you shouldn't base your opinion of Chrysler products off of one sweet car they make. Also, the fact that it is in Usher's video would prove my point. Nothing like marketing a supercar so that all the teenies think that a neon SRT-4 has the same bloodlines.

Wonder how much a proper interior would add to the weight? Personally, I'd rather have a Koenigsegg, but thats just me

Isn't that car a concept? Whats it doing in a music video? Chrysler sure is trying to rack up points w. asst'd rapper, first the 300C now this.

i wonder if they count they count the nitrious setup as part of the 850hp? atleast im pretty sure thats a no2 bottle on the floor of the passenger seat. but chrysler vehiclas are very well known to be piece of crap. 5 or 100,000miles what ever comes first, and don't try and do anything to them our they will last even less.

I agree with all of you for sure dont get me wrong, I meant that it changed my opinion as far as there flashy crappers, Like the viper and that other thing with the wing on it that motorizes up at certain speeds. It just looked good. As for the numbers its not really that impressive, look at iceberg's honda, that thing is only 520+ @24psi single turbo and it runs 11's, chryslers runs 10's all that and only runs 10's. I guess im looking at the look only. and not the numbers!, Besides it will probably cost 150,000 if it goes production.

h0nd4_r1c3r_X has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Question

is it just me or does that car look like the honda hsc concept a bit to much?

it looks nothing like the honda concept, cars like these have to look somewhat alike because of aerodynamics.
this car is NOT a piece of crap people.... i believe it has 7 gears or something and the guy on tv said they got to 21 in like 5th gear. (dont ask why they stopped there but dont start making dumb comments like "thats cus it probably broke, dumb domestic")

and ex 03 its not all about 1/4 mile, im sure this thing is alot nicer than any civic anyone has! yes it runs tens but also gets to 250 mph and is stable at that speed, it also beats the porsche gt and enzo on the skidpad and slalom.

yea but you've got to give credit to a car that can run it in 11 sec's for 20 or 30,000 dollars. when you know that car is going to be bank? and runs it @ 10 secs.

nvm just realized........ yea but personally i think its worth it.... of course your paying not only for the car but the status coming along with it (even tho it is a chrysler) and the other perks of having a supercar.

i guess i'm not sure why it's all that big a deal? it's a concept. there are always companies making concepts such as this one. anyone remember the working 500+hp car that honda made that was N/A and a gas/electric AWD hybrid?

it has to be a good car if they invest so much effort and time to develop it.

Mercedes and Chrysler are a merged company...mercedes had alot to do with the build of this concept...i personally think that the new mercedes and bmw's are some of the best designed cars on the market today....

Wasn't that from last year? I thought they said they won't make it becuase there wasn't a bussiness case for it.

Oh well, I must say a lot of what I see from domestics that are actually good are merely concept cars. The SSR had a great Vette engine, but it was dropped for a less powerful one. The Caddy 16 will never see the light of day even though it could outsell Maybach... That car, well, a great showcase for technology...

as for caddy.. there were reports in motor trend that they are designing a car to go after the bentley GT...... maybach and caddy 16 are completely different. they said this new caddy will be featuring a lot of styling cues from the sixteen (i am like 70 percent sure they said the engine as well-dont quote me on it though)
