Need Information on Body Panel Repair
Need Information on Body Panel Repair
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ello,
Wasn't sure exactly where to post this, please move if inappropriate
I recently bought a Ford Probe.
The Body Panels OEM are no longer available.
(I don’t want to start a ford v. Honda debate, I still love my Honda)
But the Panels are no longer Available.
So I’m thinking of Repairing some dents I have in my rear Quarter Panels and Hood.
Does anyone have a DIY or something instructional about how to do that???
The car will be getting a new paint job as soon as I get all the Body Panels 100%
Also the Rear Bumper Cover has gotten some wear and scratches in it.
Can I use Bondo to repair those, I was thinking to just sand off the paint. Apply bondo and sand the heck out of it.
Thanks

Not exactly the encouragement I was looking for..
Oh well... I'm going to give it a shot, and If It does look like shizzle I'll just buy a new body panel.... I've got all the time in the world though, so i figure it's worth a shot.
