auto civic speed

hey, can someone tell me how fast (mph) an auto civic (Stock) should be at at the end of first gear and the end of second gear? thanks

Why? I think end of 2nd gear in my auto was 35mph.

at wot 1st gets to 30 mph snd goes to 60

my car shift about 35-40 from first to second if im pushing it. second gear bounces off the rev limiter at 79 so about 70-75 if its shifting itself. all in mph

i know 1st is 39mph, 2nd is around 79mph and 3rd is 99mph.

all my other needles work, except the mph.. i got it working once but it got messed up.. like it doesn't turn when i put it back in, any advice?

i would PM gearbox. I think he took off his needles when he was putting leds in his gauges. I think he had a similar problem. I remember read a about about it.

Mine is close to that.
3rd gear you can take it all the way to 110+ until the speed limiter kicks in.

yeah it is but its by no means slow untill you get into 2nd. its quick till 40 then slow as *****. (quick, not fast)

it'd be a lot faster if it downshift, if ur goin anything over like 10 it wont downshift, it stays in 2nd, i hate it

you can just leave it in d2 and go all the way from 0 to 60 lol in d2. Thats how tall our second gear is.

alright, here is the quick fix.
Turn on your car with the needle out. This will set the stepper motor to 0mph/kph. Then just press it in at 0 without any play. Did it like a million times for DIY blue guages. For the tach, just remeber your idel or use your S(V)FAC for idel then just press the needle in. Gas, fill your tank then press it in, temp... drive around for a while till you think your middle and press it in. Thats it dude !! Enjoy.
