remove paint from blacked/smoked headlights
i was wondering, what material do i use to take off the paint from the headlights when its smoked/blacked out...is there even a way??!
I think this is what ExVtec01 is talking about. I saw them yesterday and they look very nice, but I'm not sure yet...
I spoke to another member who ordered them alreday, waiting on him for comments...but if you are looking for the headlights alone, they go way cheaper...
Finally, they are coming out with a lot of accessories for our later models vics.
04-05 Halo Projectors

well, your best bet for going back to stock, it either trading someone with stock headlights, or just buying new ones

There is no way to remove paint from the crome with out having the off white plastic showing through, even cheap painters tape will peel that thin layer of crome off.
You can get crome spray paint and Ive used that to paint ove the amber peice on 04 head lights to make them look chrome, but thats a small area and hard to notice that its different. On the hole frame I dont know if it will pass, but its worth a try, you can always paint ove it with black again.
