It looks pretty wild, I really like the concept. Like someone already said, I'm sure the production version won't look that wild. It'll come down to whether or not the chassis and engine are good. I'm not a fan of their current small engines. I really don't like the one in the current Sentra. It's great if there's a turbo version though, you already have the plumbing if you want to give it more grunt.

Ironically, I bought a 04 Sentra SpecV this time last year. It was fun for a while, until I got sick and tired of fighting the clutch, the rigid ride, and the whiplash gear shifts. I got locked out of 1st at intersections more than once, and frequently would get locked out of 6th on the freeway if I didn't say in 5th for at least 4-5 seconds. Build quality? OK, but not great. It has nasty problems with road noise and wind noise >40mph.

The final nail that led me to trade it for my 02 civic was the suspension. It was way too rigid, I got a low (not flat) tire and drove it for only about 2 miles to Discount Tire where they fixed it. Unfortunately, it screwed up the alignment. I've never even heard of a low tire messing up the alignment! Finally, it was rated at 23-29mpg. I never got more than 23mpg on my daily drive (1/2 freeway) and the best I got was 25mpg.

On the Sentra SE-R boards, people would complain of wierd things, like screws coming loose under the hood (esp the butterfly valves) and the paint chipping with just a few months on the car.

Look on Renault's(French car manufacturer) website, you will probably find something similar as most of Nissan's new cars are built on Renault platforms. Renault has had majority stock in Nissan since 97,98. I think now its close to 50%. They bailed Nissan out after it almost went bankrupt in 96.

C'mon, it's the turbo game... you gotta play to win.
I rather take 10psi than a N/A . Also, don't forget... that's what a MBC and a aftermarket boost guage is for
