but the train is only 1,460 yen to Hiroshima and the bus only cost 140 yen.... so gas prices won't have any effect on me
I get to go out tomorrow night (it's already thursday for me!) so I'll see what I can do... Also, I work with 2 nationals so I'll see what info I can get from them too...

the headlights in japan are made for the ES1/2, so the sockets (the things that the bulbs plug in to) are a different size. have fun looking for the JDM bulb sockets. Thread Starter

^^^^
only the coupe was designed in america at there Torrance, CA center. The sedan was designed in japan. Shipping the sedans from america to japan would be really expensive considering how weak the dollar is right now. It would be more economical just to build them in japan or the other asian plants.
I would guess they would be the same, makes more sense to have the same harness, but best way to find out is check for yourself or hopefully a ferio owner can speak up.

[QUOTE=RoPiE]But yeah, I'll be here for 2 years and when I go back to the states, I get a 5000 lbs "allowance" to ship "household goods" for free. QUOTE]
So what you are saying is your going to bring back a GTR?
So what you are saying is your going to bring back a GTR?
you have to change all the glass on the vehicle in order to have passed by customs or you can pull out the engine out of the car and ship them seperately and you wont have to replace anything

It's the same harness in the states and I don't think Honda would use 2 different versions of a harness on the same make of car even if one isn't available in Japan... I would guess that the Civic Feiro is still made in the US and just shipped to Japan since it was designed in America.... Or maybe they build it here using US Spec underpinnings. The only difference that I've seen from USDM and JDM Civics was the side the steering wheel is on... Even the pedals are like they are back home (gas on the right) so yeah... I guess we'll find out....
