I was wondering if anyone could explain how Skunk2 could make an Rsx go 9.81 sec 1/4th mile? All motor......HOW!!! lol, But really. And could it be done to a civic with a k20a2 swap.

i believe it, i mean there were people at nopi last year running very low 10's all motor in crx's. the rsx has to be completly gutted with roll cage for reinforcmnet and most likely a tubular chassie. and probably not a factory k20 block. custom block, head, internals, etc... skunk2 has the money to do it but far from street legal.

yeah you can hardly call it an RSX at this point. it's like the "7thgen" tube chassis racing civic. (steve papadakis???)
in fact the engine is more crv engine than rsx engine. (it's a K20 top end mated to a K24 bottom end, and then all aftermarket parts built to hell) It's also alcohol injected. and yes it's a tube frame.
I'm surprised no one has done an F20C engine yet for the NHRA all motor class, considering it has probably the most potential of any production honda engine (when you have enough funds). then again, it's not a mass produced engine, so I guess it's not exactly as easily available.

They are running a 15k sequential trans mission that all the other all motor cars are not using. this is the same trasnmission used in F1 cars. the only other poeple that use it is Gary Gardella kenny tran and maty ladwig

the thing with that is titan could have ran it at the track with say 40 psi then take it for inspection running 9 psi and pass emissions or whatever.. making it street legal. so its a tricky situation when determing what is street legal and can run better then 10 flat... i'm not sure about the viper TT but i just read that somewhere

I think the term street legal in this case should just mean you can pass inspection without changing parts, just settings. As long as you can pass with the gear you got why bother fighting about how! You know you would do the exact same thing!
