I Hate my Dealership !!

I know dealerships generally have a bad rep and in the past my dealer has gone against the trend and gave me decent service. I went in to get my free oil change and wanted them to take a look at my windows which were rattiling. The service guy gave me a bad attitude from the beginning and even had the ***** to say that its a "civic" youre driving. He and I argued about the window thing and finally he agreed to let the techs take a look at it. The tech and I went even went for a drive and I told him about the TSB and it was like talking to a brick wall. The only thing they knew how to say was "its normal" even though I showed him clearly how wobbly the windows were. Are anyones windows rattling? On mine, theres a crap load of play and I can actually move it left and right in each direction. So after basically refusing to try to reapair it he even mentioned that my engine mounts were broken and that it was a TSB. So I thought they were offering to replace it but instead he wanted 250 to fix it! SO now instead of fixing my problems they acutally give me a new one. I dont really believe them but how do you know if your mount is broken and is that a TSB? I didnt see it on the list? Anyone have suggestions? I called another local dealer and they want 50 bucks just to assess the problems.

A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin. It's sent out by Honda so that the dealerships know how to correct a common problem that a customer might come in with. If your car is still under warranty then you shouldn't have to pay for it, that's the point of a warranty. I'd suggest calling Honda customer service and file a complaint with them.

if its a TSB, they are suppose to fix it for free. and yeah.. most honda dealer's service sucks... and pretty much u get the same attitude if u drive into service to any dealer with a Sti, Evo, or G35. sigh....

The dealer around here is just like that. They are soooo quick to blame your faulty fuel pump on your exhaust

But the dealer in Missouri is badass, they offered to install lowering springs when we had some shocks put on. I was like O_O

car will shake harder on start then when u first got it.. 2 of mine broke when I was replacing the tranny.. I noticed one before the tranny was being replace not the other, and it seems like it happened right after the replacement so I'm confused.. point being I gotta fix it my self.

You can also visually see if it is broken. If you need a pic, feel free to ask

if you have any problems like warranty wise and your dealership isnt being reasonable call honda out in california. they helped me out alot. i took my car in b/c i threw a rod (and the techs were trying to get me to admit to using nitrous)neways...got it fixed for free but had to pay 1k for install b/c i had mods that "contributed" to the problem. and realized about a week after i got it back that my front headlight had a huge scratch on it. they said "well you've made mods to your headlights so you cant prove if we did it or not" DICKS!!

i vote honda for the worst customer service
