So your trying to tell me that a heavier car with 50 less horsepower will win in 0-60 and 1/4 mile.

Hrmmmm lets investigate that

2005 RSX-S 0-60 in 6.2 seconds, 1/4 in 14.9 @ 95 mph

2004 Scion Tc 0-60 in 7.4 seconds, 1/4 in 15.7 @ 88 mph

Try doing your homeork next time before you start making claims
Thank you, my point more clearly stated

The tC has 160 hp but 180 ft lbs of tq I think. 210 hp doesnt mean anything if has no tq. Once the tC is supercharged it is definately a victory. The rsx weights less than the tC? The rsx has all those options. Has leather side curtain airbags and all that crap. I guess the 2.0 engine weighs less than the tC's 2.4 vvit. I dont. Seems like the weight would be prety comparable if not the rsx being heavier. Any other feed back?
Are you retarded? The RSX-S does 0-60 in 6.1 and the quarter in 14.8...

The TC does 0-60 in 7.8 and the quarter in 15.7...

You are not taking into account gear ratios. The TC is a heavy car, and 20 ft lbs of torque is negligeable when you are at a 30 horsepower disadvantage. All this means is that the RSX-S will have to launch at a much higher RPM.

Not to take away from the TC, it's a nice car, but it is not faster than an RSX-S. With this SC, I'd expect it to slightly edge out the RSX-S.

Yeah, brads just sayin more cuz hes gettin one, and his dealer convinced em with all this bs. Its a real good lookin car, and with that sc itll put it 3k more to the price but is still 2-3-4 thousand cheaper than the rsx-s. The rsx-s is faster and has a sexier leather interior but i think the tc looks better on outside IMO with its sexy headlights and has a big wheel well for some 19's. Im thinking of getting one, but im waiting for the dealer to release the SC already which i hope is in april.
