Pulling E-brake

Its raining cats and dogs right now in Southern Cali, and well, I kinda found some fun in pulling my e-brake and doing like a 180 in empty streets. Is this bad for my car? Im not doing them at like 40mph...more like 10 or 15. Anyone else do this?

I'm not worried about your car. You wanna beat it, by all means, go ahead. At least i am no the one that has to fix it. Next time be careful........you man spin a 180 into a tree.

i like pulling an e-brake 180 and punching 1st just at the right time to accelerate out of it, going the other way, or 2nd...depends on the road conditions and speed, can't always get it into 1st at the appropriate speed.

/only in safe areas.

i just keep it out of gear right before i pull it, just incase then you won't have a chance of messing someting up in the drive train. my buddy did it in he auto camaro from 45 and he threw a gear.

It's no worse then auto x'ing in ur car. It puts wear on the your rear suspension and tires especially. I do it all the time in snow though haha.

you could damage your suspension or knock your rear tires out of alignment.

why not push his clutch down? wouldn't that work? BTW snow and e-brake = fun times! especially with the girlfriend. in an empty open area of course.

Trix has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I like to pull my e-brake in turns. Put it in 2nd gear, pull e-brake, turn, and pull myself out. And I do it always, an till now is my car still ok. Nothing broken.

It'll kill ur tires. More the front is gon get tore up than the back. Tread will disappear jus like that, even at low mph. Danger to ur suspension if they stock parts. But it is fun, i did it all the time. Until i started slidin around the place when it rains cuz no traction. Got new rims n tires now so its all good.
