Rep Power: 0 A question for people in the know?
I was wondering which would is a better situation. To buy a new Infiniti G35 for example for roughly 32k or to buy a new Civic EX for about 17K and spend lets say 10k over two years in performance upgrades. Is the appeal of putting money into a car with a lower initial price tag the pride in doing the work your self and knowing your car is unique? This question is simply to appease my wondering mind, I have neither the money, time, or knowledge to put 10k into my civic or buy a new Infiniti for example.

Rep Power: 0 get the G35 man. Spending 10k on a civic is not worth it. With the G35, you get the luxury, prestige, comfort, and power without the many problems that mods can cause.

Rep Power: 304 Well, if it's any concern, the G35 will have a higher resale than a civic with 10K of upgrades. Not to mention, that the 7th gen civic has proven to be not the best contender for modification.
BTW the G35 without rebates or incentives is 34K base.

Rep Power: 540 How old are you? I'm not sure where the money is coming from but just to be the devil's advocate I guess....the insurance on the G35 (if under 25) is gonna rape you like never before. Not to mention the gas consumption.
Not trying to burst your bubble....Just something to think about I suppose.
