your engine breathes just fine as it is, and a fan would only get in the way. a fan would probably disrupt the air flow since the engine probably sucks the air in faster anyways at wide open throttle. plus since it's a open system, any extra air (ie more than what the engine needs at the given moment) would simply bounce around in the intake and out of the intake manifold.

btw, ebay sells them. Check out ebay. I think they go for like $70.00 or something.

in other words we have a higher revving engine than the fan can keep up with
