2002 + Si's Gearbox
Im interested in buying a 2002 SI but i dont know if i would like rally style gearbox. Is there anybody that could give me some input on wether they like it or not and how comfortable it is to have in the dash rather then in the usual spot

I have never driven an Si but I have read magazines praising how the position makes the shifter natural to use.

i thought it would be weird but the shifter posistion is actually a lot better

i been in a vibe gt (has the same position) and its totally a granny setup. vibe gt = 6spd minivan. sorry rally drivers.

When I test drove the Si I was afraid the position would be a pain, but after experiencing it I honestly wish mine had it in the same position.

yea i test drove it like twice and i love the position of the shifter i sit back in my seat so my coupe shifter is hard to reach but the si is very comfortable i like it.

the si coupe's old shifter is more comfortable than the new one in my opinion, but thats just me
