S2k is so nice, id take it over a lot of cars but not worth it in the northeast man. Just get an rsx-S, they look sweet and have a great engine that has tons of potential.

also, the S2k is a fun winter car if you have winter tires. it's stable and actually quite fun in the snow with the right tires.
also people keep mentioning insurance. FYI, it costs the same for me to have an RSX-s as an S2000 insurance wise. the S2000 is barely more expensive than a civic or accord. it has a low theft and accident rate.

Not quite as potent as an S2K from the factory, but easily more "mod friendly." Boost controller away from more power...if you're into that sort of thing.
Equally as track worthy as an S2K as well. This my friend, is your "stock turbo miata." It also has a laundry list of suspension and appearance upgrades. The intercooler needs to be bigger though.
By the way, Mazdaspeed originated as a rotary tuner in Japan in the 1960's. They opened their first shop across from Mazda headquarters. Since then, Mazdaspeed has become such a proven tuner that Mazda acknowledged them and made them their official in house tuners. Mazdaspeed products can be purchased through Mazda dealerships, and Mazdaspeed vehicles come factory tuned.

Dude it is a no brainer. If you can afford it (and get approved for the auto loan) get the S2K. Out of the box it is faster than a lot of mod'd cars out there. Plus, there are a ton of mods you can do to it down the road. The S2K has a lot more potential than any other Honda or Acura.

like i said, i drive me and my girlfriend around, or cruise with it. i live in wisconsin where we get some nasty winters. i drive the car year round, no problems, and it's fun.
for that price, you can get more hp cheaper, blah blah blah. you're missing the point. people dont buy a car cuz its the fastest thing they can afford for the money they are spending. they buy a car cuz it's something they want. there's more to a car then a HP figure.

Yeah they now offer a Mazdaspeed Miata, the Mazdaspeed 6 will be here this summer, the Mazdaspeed 3 next year. The Mazdaspeed Protege and MP3 started it all back in the fall of 2002.
