So I have great luck with my civic. I've been rear-ended twice and had a giant piece of freeway tear up the side of my car. I'll have had my car for a year come Jan. 31. Today here in Ohio there has been a lot of flooding and a major part of the freeway was shut off, but I didn't know. As I get close to that area everyone starts slamming on their breaks, so I slam on mine. The idiot behind me decides he doesn't need to slam his on too hard and rear-ends me.
The idiot then hits the gas and almost causes another accident getting over to another lane to get on another exit
, his friend and him are sitting there laughing and pointing as they take off. My car isn't badly damaged, just needs the rear bumper fixed up and repainted, just a license plate dent in it. So now I have to file a police report because the cops were going to take at least 3 hrs to get out and take a report. Then I'm going to have to talk to a detective since it was a hit and run. Then I have to deal with insurance. Then my car will go back into the body shop for the 4th time since I've had her; I named her Bullseye after my last accident. I'm starting to think that this car is bad luck, or maybe I have ultra-fast reaction times.
I really don't know whether I should look at all the accidents as a sign to get rid of the car or as a sign that the car is indestructible. If I go with the latter one I think I should get the Superman emblem put on my hood, Bullseye is red.
