what you really need to do it fill it up, use it, then on the next fill up, make note of how many gallons u filled up with. divide the second fill up by the number of miles between the first and second and it gives u your mpg. as far for the gauge, Honda's are notoroiusly shifty when the needle goes under half. in my old accord, the needle stayed over half for like 200 miles then dropped like a rock in the 100 miles after that.

That's about 21mpg (with a 50L tank). But I doubt you used up an entire tank of gas to get that 450km. You probably still had some gas to go so your mileage would actually be higher than 21mpg.

you've gotta estimate it on a full tank, the needle is useless, bounces all around

I get between 350 and 380 on a tank of gas. Thats in miles. The trick is keep the rpm below 3000 helps a lot. Don't be afraid to floor it now and then but yeah if you can get your car to shift around 3000 you should notice a decent mpg.

You people all need to figure out the correct way of how much gas you are using, and than ask questions. For everybody who doesnt know the correct way for figuring out how many mpg your getting. Fill up your tank and reset the trip counter while at the gas station. Drive until you are near empty. Fill up your tank, and before you drive make a note of how many miles you drove, and how many gallons you put in the car when you JUST filled up. Divide the miles by how many gallons you just put in the car. You will get an EXACT amount of miles per gallon from the last tank you just filled up.

I get anywhere from 145 to 175 miles on half a tank... it has decreased considerably with the cold weather.

Whats the exact capacity for our tank? 13.2?

Not sure what I get but I fill up twice a week and drive 500 - 600 miles in that period. I have a lead foot and drive my car like I stole it so I'm sure I'm wasting alot. I'd guess maybe a little under 300 Miles per tank.
