hatch for 1500
well i know a guy sellin a 91hatch and everything is basically perfect and he has coilovers and shocks. Only slide... no motor well i almost got the money saved for it (1500) and i have been looking for a hatch to mess with and all hatches at this price r really fuked up. So should i do this and he said he will tow it to my house free of charge. And this wont be my dd thats what i got my 7thgen for. Any help would be great
assuming the shell is "perfect" meaning no rust/paint is fine/no oxidizing/etc, 1500 is a pretty good deal. i would try talking it down $1300 and eventually, maybe he or she will accept $1400.. squeeze as much possible out of him so u can get the best price. but he is gonna drop it off on your driveway and hes gonna say "well, im gonna deliver it and a fee should be charged but im not". thats where u add $50 to shut him up.
goodluck. i personally dont like the 91 hatch shells. im more into eg/ek. if you like those years, definatel go for it. just make sure you got the bones to spend on that car. if your gonna struggle to make payments on your civic or any other bills, i'd make sure everything is paid off before buying anything big like a car..

i wouldn't give 500 for it...no motor?...come on...coilovers don't make a car worth it...if it had 1000 set of wheels on it, i would consider it...you can find a ef for much lower than that..look around..

yeah i am still thinking about it. I told him i would make my decision around mid-late december and i decieded that i am not gonna pay 1500 because a friend of mine just bought a 89 hatch for 450 in decent condition with a working motor so will see.
