Help finding a car under 5k

Hey.. i am having car trouble now.. , im looking for a good decent car dat is under 5k and be slightly modded before i get my rex, cuz im giving the car up to my bro after i get the rex...im working now so i need a temp car for like 3 months. thnx for the help.

look for a del sol or a Miata... You can have fun with them for a while... and then sell them, esp since you're from Cali.

I also have a 91 Saturn as my winter car ,which is pretty reliable and easy to work on. The resale on those are horrible so i'm sure you can find a use one with low miles for pretty cheap.

those are fun man
also someone mentioned a del sol, i think u can getone for just under 5k.

but if it was me, i would've picked the 92-95 hatch.. or the coupe version those things fun.

Since exclusivevtec already mentioned about the fifth gen civic hatch, how about a 240sx s13. They are easy to find and decently cheap. There's a coupe and a hatch version for the s13. I kinda prefer the coupe, but decent ones are harder to find than a hatch. Lots of aftermarket parts or NISMO. But like a high maintenance girlfriend and any older car they are going to need a lot of TLC to run properly but they are fun cheap cars to drive.
