Amen Riley.

The main reasons companys keep on making these shitty *** parts for 7thgens is because people keep buying them. There are what 13 different body kit styles and how many upgraded cams/tbs/brake kits? There are people that complain about the aftermarket companys not supporting the 7thgens then they ask in a different thread what headlights will look best on their car.

Aftermarket companys don't take civic owners seriously anymore, they think they're all ricers....and they're pretty much right. The ratio of riced out civics i see compared to nice ones is rediculous. The only 7thgen i've seen Auto-Xing in my area was someone i dragged there from here, and he loved it.

Another thing that annoys the hell out of me. I was at HIN, i saw all these FIA approved racing seats, 6 pot calipers, amazing suspension systems, on cars that will NEVER even see a race track. I hate when people use race parts as show parts, now this might just be just me, but if you're gonna do all this stuff to make your car stop better, go faster, and turn better, use the ****ing thing! Or if your not gonna use the car, give the stuff to me

To sum up this post. Stop asking for different lambo door kits and body kits, you're ruining it for the people that want to race their cars

j/p I love your car and your rims (All of em). I hate when people in hella riced cars try to race me, and they get whooped by my 100 HP civic. LOL crazy stupid people. I need to post a pick of this chickenwire grill on this dudes car. He also had a handpainted skull with flames on the side, a nonfunctional hood scoop, giant wing (of course unpainted, and swirly chrome rims.

I have chrome, but mine are clean, not crazy

practical to me, dont hate cause u cant afford em,. read the post..

ive done physic analysis and my 19" wheels have only a few ounces more rotational mass than a 15" oem hub. only thing thats better is lightweight 16's like rota... but if u compare my 19" RH to a 17" motegi.. mine has a much lighter rotational mass due to forging and the design

I've been reading on this post since this morning...I'll put in my two cents worth and say that I agree with Riley and what Hawk just wrote. I also think that Riley is going far out of his way to offer these other guys out there payment plans if they wanna buy some nice rims from his. No other stores or vendors would offer that.

i started my own business at 17, mommy and daddy dont pay for ****. i pay for my apt my car and have paid for my car since i was 16.. also i purchase my own food and all of my wheels.. look better in the pics..my old pics r in my whitetrash neighborhood and now its in front of a 495 a month apt.. which i pay for selling rims and tires..

secons of all. my bumper is XENON urethane and is like that cause a screw is in wrong hole in mesh making it pull tight... BTW lets see ur car.. i think i went thru all this a few weeks ago and the kid got banned.. u dont newbie a site and call people out.. its how u get banned especially when u dont know u who ur dealing w//. BTW ur proilly the same kid. resigned up.lolol

I think (and this is strictly my opinion, so take it for what its worth), that i dont give a flying monkey f*$# about what anyone on this site thinks of me or my car (no offense anyone). I am (slowly but surely) doing the modifications that I think are appropriate and that I like. I really dont see any point in a body kit; I kind of like the way that some of them look but i would personally never buy one. I think that rims over 18 inches look cool but really serve no purpose. I know that putting an intake and an exhaust on a car really doesnt do much but make it sound cool (again my opinion). I give props to everyone here for working and doing modifications that they like. I also like the fact that everyone can come together and discuss each others cars, but I know that i will never meet or really even think twice about most of you (again no offense). Yes, I agree that most of the "modifications" today are really junk, but i can distinguish the junk that i see and stuff that i actually want to buy. I value the opinions of the guys and gals on this forum, but i know that its just trivial. In the end, i like the way that my car will look when i get my wheels on, i like the way the stereo sounds, and guess what... i have a civic... its slow...get over it.

grille was a screw that was put thru the wrong hole in mesh.. its fixed.. the upper RS grille fits that way i have the original RS from japan... it says honda on the back.. and thats how it fits on xenon and on OEM. i like it .. it adds a lil flare and a nice shadow line looks classy in person.

thought so...... look how off the color is on the lip kit. its gotta be like 2-3 shades lighter red then the rest of the car. if you can tell that the color is off on a picture then its 10X worse in real life.

the bumper looks grayish

look how off the color is on your front bumper. in other pics it looks like it matches because light hits the car and makes everything blend in but in this one pic light didnt hit your car and it showed how far off your color is on your body kit.

nop, bumper doesnt match.... matching is when it matches in all different lightings. just because it matches when its sunny out and when its dark out doesnt mean it'll match when its sun set..... this shows that you were too cheap to get your whole car repainted so everything will match perfectly once you got the kit put on

man ppl like you riley really chap my ***. who the **** cares what other ppl's cars look like. i hope u knew that when buying your civic, there were always going to be other civic's out there that would give all civic owners a bad name. i personally dont like the style u are shooting for on your car....but thats not to say if i saaw it on the street i would defianlly give it a second look, it looks good, but not my style. u could say the same about me, then again, i dont give a ****. and as for "doing it right" and getting true coilovers....i opted for springs and struts (which the struts have not been installed yet) because i live where it snows and didnt feel like paying 1300 for some coilovers which will rust, lock up, or something i would have to constantly clean and grease during the 20 degree month of january. as for buying quality parts...ya i agree, i have cheap velox wheels and kumho 712 tires...then again, i drive around on the pot hole streets of pittsburgh/central pa, and the other members on this site from those areas will agree, spending hard earned cash on expensive wheels and tires is pointless, ecspecially when 6 out of the 12 motnhs of the year i drive around on stock rims/bridgestone winter tires because the weather sucks. and what i also dont understand is why u can go off and post a big long post about your opinion, but when someone makes a response that doesnt agree with your post, u get all defensive and ****.

urethane and metal are different materials w/ diff absorbtion rates.. go to HONDA and hey paint their cars all at once and plastic/metal doesnt match in all lights its not a paint thing.. its an absorbtion thing. know ur **** and dont call me out.. in person their perfect come down and look at em instead of making false accusations.

nah man, quality rims and quality tires would be fine, just adjust ur driving habits slightly and they would be perfect.. its all about wareness and QUALITY products.. ive hit some nasty bumps on highway that i coudlnt avoid and their fine.. as for snow in CT if its a powderocated rim you should be fine w/ salt.. NaCl doesnt affect raw aluminum
