New Car Jacking Scheme
Subject: State Police Warning
BE AWARE of CAR JACKERS NEW SCHEME
Imagine: You walk across the Parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. Then you lock all your doors, Start the engine and shift into REVERSE, and you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into PARK, unlock your doors and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view...
When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off!! Your engine was running, (ladies would have their purse in the car) and they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.
BE AWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.
Just drive away and remove the paper that is stuck to your window later, and be thankful that you read this email. I hope you will forward this to friends and family... especially to women! A purse contains all identification, and you certainly do NOT want someone getting your home address.
They already HAVE your keys!

damn I cant really see this happening to a CAR owner where its like 4 feet from the door to the rear glass. And on top of that you can see over the car, so even if your standing at the trunk you can see if someones at your driver side door.
I can really imagine this happening to SUV drivers, that have the rear glass roughly half a mile away from the drivers side door. Likewise if your standing behind an SUV unless your Shaq your not going to be able to see your drivers side door.

Rep Power: 0 I heard of that before, but you're probably gonna notice the thing on your rear window before you even get into the car. But taking the time to remove that in an isolated parking lot also gives the thief some time to screw you over as well.

Rep Power: 0 im sure if the car was nice enough, and the guy had enough determnation he could figure out how to switch enough gears in a MT to get away and re-sell it or somethin..
plus, this trick works better for cars that are backed into a parking space such as concrete wall, fence, etc. that way the driver truely WONT see it until he or she gets in the car. WHich is plenty of time to jack their car, they dont have to be outside of it. you just have to get the keys from them. If you were a victim, You would probably assume all car jackers were armed and your life isnt worth the car.

funny ****....
so no this wont work on higher end cars. Caddy's, benz, and BMW. Not sure if BMW has it I know higher GM cars do now like the caddy roadster because the vette has it...

or u can do what most carjackers do
a) get u b4 u get in ur car
b) get u at a stoplight in traffic
c) if u don't comply, they shoot u.
carrying a gun won't do **** unless u see them coming. Anyways, go ahead and carry some guns, it will make the jacking more worth it since they now have a new gun.
