cl type so rsx type s

Well I went the the acura dealership to check out the new 05 type s rsx. I Only got to drive a 03 type s and it was nice. The sales guy said hey check out this 2003 cl type s. a new rsx 05 type s is about 23 something but a used cl type s was only 22. So I drove both and he was telling me that the cl was way faster and would walk circles around the type s. But I looked up the quarter mile time and it only runs a 15.4 and the old dc2 type s 03 only runs a 15.2?
So whats up Does the cl have more top end power?

Also
For any one you guys that traded in ur civic for a type s how much did your insurANCE go up. I have a 03 civic ex ThAT has 25000 miles on it.
I still have 14.5 to pay on it though. My car payments are around 310 How much for do u think my payments will go up if i get the type s ?
thx

cl type s has 260 hp. 05 rsx type s has 210. if i was in your position, it would come down to the tranny. rsx only comes in manny tranny. cl has a choice. if the cl is on stick, that would be a tough choice. but if its an auto, it take the rsx for sure. the acura tl/cl auto tranny is complete crapppp. i know 4 people personally with 3.2 tl's whos trannys died before 50k miles. but both stick, id be leaning towards the k20z1.

lol if u pay 300 a month for ur civic now and u 14.5, just about double that to 600 and thats how much ull be paying, cuz ur gonna have to pay the amount u owe on ur civic plus the difference of the other car which is like 7.5 more plus tax, so lets say around 500-550 a month then. u want to do that?

I'd go for the V6 in the CL. It's a good car, powerful too. The mods for it are a little more expensive than the RSX, but there are some.

the cl type s has 260hp instead of 210 as u said the regular one has 225hp
go with the cl-s is more luxurious and confortable it is slower because it weights a lot more and the tranny is notas good as an rsx one

Mm, Type S has a ncie body style and a plush interior. Depends if you want a compact car or a medium-sized sedan I suppose. Type S model can handle pretty well too from what I understand. As for tranny problems, I can't recall if those were for the TL and the CL or just the TL?

Type S? People...read what you write. The guy is asking if he should get a 05 RSX TYPE S or a 03 CL TYPE S. They're both "Type S."

I would choose RSX-S if the CL-S is automatic.

I'd take the CL Type S hands down. CL has a V6 engine with 260 hp. It's faster than a RSX, but it may be a little heavier. Doesn't really matter. CL would be the wise choice.

power wise, the CL has 260 but its an SOHC, and well we know what the RSX is

but in any event ive been and driven both, i like the CL-S waaay better, the back seat has soo much more room... plus either way insurance will go up

Ya I really think I would rather have the 05 type s!
From what i ve read the cl type s 03 runs a .2 faster than the type s!
I want the silver with black leather! Sooooooooo nice
I would also want to get the front rear and sideskirts they can add on!
But I think they said something like 4500 for the a spec package!
You can sure here vtec on the type s wow
