Do not go to Walmart to get your headlights installed.
So I was at Walmart getting some tires for my 'truck' when I decided I also needed new headlights as well. So I bought them and paid the 5$ a light to get them to install and align the lights. Boy, was I mistaken on the alignment thing. I noticed that the lights looked like they were pointing kinda high, but I didn't think any more of it. Then, at night when I started driving around, I didn't notice anything really because of all the street lights. I finally got to a dark parking lot, and my lights were shining almost over the tops of the mall building! I mean, my lights are practically runway lights for the airport! That would be good if I needed help from Batman, but seriously. Poor work. I mean, I could just go get out a screwdriver and fix it myself, but that would defeat the purpose of me paying for them to do it for me. Bums.
Man my best friends girlfriend took her car to Wal-Mart for an oil change and they stripped the plug so bad she had to get a new oil pan. What a dumb ars! That's why I change my own oil and do all the maintenance I can.

I work in the Tire Department at Sam's Club and I know how much training they required for me, they said... just go back there and kinda follow the guys lead... so I watched for a day or so... 2nd day was kinda like training.. third day I was working on my own, just let us know if you need some help.. thats pretty much how it went, and those certificates they put on the walls.. they dont mean anything..we have those at sam's too, its a multiple choice 20 question test, I got 100% because I cheated.. so you can tell how much experience it requires to work on cars under walmart inc's supervision.. however, if we break ANYTHING Walmart Inc, will pay for it... one time we broke a fog light... tire rolled into it, looked like a $15 set from walmart.. ateast 5yrs old... maybe cost $5 to buy a new one, IF that.. they gave the guy $60.. to replace it...
I should ask one of the guys to break something small on my car then i can get $100+ from sam's... or have them scratch a rim, I can get a whole new set of 4.

Wow... headlights that could signal Batman... all you need is the bat signal on them...
Walmart isn't helpful when you're buying stuff esp. for a car. I find them too vague.

I work at TLE in Wal-Mart.. and we do a decent job there, but that is because everyone out in the shop has been around cars their entire lives or they have taken classes. This is just our Wal-Mart though, I can't speak for others.
Although we have had our "accidents" and the like. It happens everywhere, and Wal-Mart isn't the worst place to get your oil changed.. I do mine myself and everyone I work with, does it themselves, but we get people that come in.. get it done somewhere else, and their drain plugs are stripped, filters are overtigthtened, oil is leaking everywhere, and we fix it.
So, we aren't as bad as some of you people say we are..

We dont really do a bad job either, there isnt a whole lot you can fvck up when it comes to changing tires/rotating and batteries..
and I know quite a few guys who work @ walmart and they know what they're doing, im just saying they have no proof. so if I didnt know them I'd say all the guys there are unqualified.. doesnt mean they can't do the job, just means there is no proof they're good at it.
I dont really think any shop treats ur car how they would their own.. but that would depend on age im sure too. There is a VERY reputable shop locally and we've gone to them w/ all our vehicles as long as we've lived here, never had problems they've always made things right and charged fair prices.. all those guys are early 30s+ I'd almost guarantee they dont **** around w/ ppls cars.... I've even seen a squad car being worked on there before.. so if the cops trust em w/ their cars... thats a good indication to me.
