trading in (honda employees please help)
Question for all you who have traded in your cars or for people who work at a honda dealership with mods.
I am trading in my honda this week and I have gone back to stock except for my cold air intake and eback pro kit, and my head lights are still cleared....
Is honda going to freak out and give me the shaft on a trade in or is this something they will over look????
due to time and money I dont want to have to change this back but what will the deal be if I dont?
Benifits of doing it?

No dont let them, like my car was lowered and had different exhaust and system in it, they took it all out because they cant sell with warranty, they should give you same price with or without mods, they just take them off and usually keep them unless you pay them to take them off for you
you shouldn't have a problem with the mods you are leaving on. do yourself a favor, go on to kelley blue book.com (KBB.com) and look up your trade value. whatever kelley blue book says, subtract about $1000 and that will be the actual trade in value. any questions...pm me.

^^^^ i sell hondas and acuras. some places may want to shaft you a bit more... subtract the thousand he said, but your dealership may not have it. be prepared to fight for even that price. i suggest taking off the intake and returning that to stock. leave the springs and lights. offer to give them the stock springs as well if they won't give you the "kelley blue book minus 1000" hondasales mentioned in order to get that price.

The closer to stock your car is when you trade it in, the better. Dealerships generally don't like to to re-sell modded used cars as it limits the market for these cars and often will take into consideration their costs to put it completely back to stock when giving you a trade-in value.
Yes, it's an Acura EL

When I traded in my sentra I had everything done to it cai exhaust everything, the only thing the dealership wanted was the stock springs so I threw them in the trunk and they where happy.
