RSX baby..
reasons why u shall never buy a Neon SRT_4
1. in 3 years the SRT-4 is gonna be worth only 1/4 the price u paid it
2. no more that excited feeling when i-VTEC kicks in
3. Its a domestic
4. if u turbo that k20 w/ as much boost as the SRT-4 ull get similar or more hp and torque w/ tuning
5. RSX is hotter and more fun to drive
6. IT A ****IN GAY NEON
7. suspension isnt tuned as much as RSX
8. 0 front camber control...you know what gonna happen when u install springs
9. the boost gauge reads wrong.. bout 2 psi more... so when u only run 10psi the boost gauge will try to make u happy buy reading 12psi..but the real reading is 10psi... test it... go get another boost gauge and ul see that im not lying
10. if u want a ****en turbo factory car.. get a Subaru STI..yeah it costs 9 g more but hey.. u get BBS rims, Brembo's, FUNCTIONAL WING, FUCTIONAL HOOD SCOOP, turbo, intercolder, water spray for the intercolder, Porsche style motor(boxer engine), 4 wheel indepdendent suspension w/ double wishbones all around, sway bars, ADVAN tires, 6-speed, ACCURATE BOOST GAUGE and last but not least its a japenese car..oh yeah its a off-road type car(rally car) and u get HID's and ****en functional foglights.. and all of this is 30gs compared what so little u get w/ a neon for 21 gs.. oh yeah LSD BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

civictuner
K series turbo kit cost at least $4000 without professional installation or tunning.
Nothing wrong with domestic.
Stock RSX suspension isn't even great.
Seems like he is willing to spend around 20g , not 30g.
That's huge differences.
Oh, dodge srt4 come with lsd's.
I am not saying dodge srt4 is great car, but you don't even make sense.
goodtimes
Go test drive both cars see which car you like more.

Like civicvtec1ps said, go test drive both. And remember there's a ratings system on this site for a reason (check out lkm and civictuner's ratings). Good luck deciding and post pics when you do!
Bascially you get RSX just for fame, becaue it is an Acura, it is an import, and it maks you look richer... if those mean anything to you.
I am very shallow, and at my age man start to compete to see who is more capable from their condo, house or car; so I would get RSX-S, but that is just me

no reliability? you probably haven't even owned one, or half of you replying to this thread. although they don't hold the outstanding reliability of an acura/honda, they are faster..
srt-4 dominates and displaces more (2,429cc) compared to the acura rsx-s which only displaces 1998cc
the rsx-s has 210hp (maybe 200-205 to the wheels)
the srt4 has 230hp (maybe 215 to the wheels)
the srt4 has a front pivoting bar attached to the engine, which is used to adjust the angle for better stability when launching, and has superior handling.
you dont even need to lower the car, its already tuned to perfection.

"no reliability? you probably haven't even owned one"
have you? even if you have (which i'm assuming you have) owned one they havent been out long enough to determine the reliability of them

1st of all, do you remember reliability reviews for Neons? each reliability review agrees on one thing: Neon's are not worthy and NOT RELIABLE CARS!
2nd: Have u read magazines lately? Daimler Chrysler (the company that builds the Neon) builds the lowest quality vehicles on the market of mass production cars!!
3rd: American cars depreciate faster than any other cars (yeah, even faster than Koreans), so imagine a turboed american car? (Think of the Evo, here in Puerto Rico we pay 34,000 for a brand new Evo, just take it out of the dealer, place a "For Sale" sign on it, and you can only get 25,000 for it if you are lucky), so imagine the re-selling value for the SRT-4, just don't worth it!
Honda/Acura have Proven Quality for years and years. It don't "make you look richier", is just a car that worth the investment, and will last more than the SRT-4.
About being fast... Here in Puerto Rico we have RSXs running mid 14s without NOS and No Turbo, just good tuning.
So, if you ask me, get the Type-S.

if you go the neon route, i hope you dont turn into one of "them"..
expect to be criticized and bad-name with the neon. if i had the choice, definately the rsx because i really like that car and its potential. only con about those are so many around.
