zipties are great!

Can't believe how many uses there are for this stuff. If they're made well and uv resistant, you can use for anything. I have them holding up my plastic guard under the engine, and today I put a couple to hold my exhaust up higher. Let's see how long it lasts.

Those things are strong. Have you tried to pull it apart after they're together? I can't do it. Oh but I still have the rubber hangers holding the exhaust in case the zipties break lol.

i would replace the exhaust ties as soon as you can. i had them holding mine on because the rubber hangers were too high and it rattled. anyway, zip ties broke and the exhaust got dragged a little on the pavement.

just a warning if you dont want that to happen to you.

Wouldn't heat be an issue with them that close to the exhaust?

Zip ties are SO useful. Ive used the in so many places. The only way to remove it is by cutting it.

Nah they're holding the hangers together and not even touching the exhaust. Worst case is they fail and the muffler drops an inch again. Right now it's like 1mm from the bumper, so I gotta watch that.

The funny thing is that even the pro's use it when doing stuff. They're cheap and easy to use.

I use them a lot for cables and stuff through out the house. It keeps everything organized and looking good too.

That's not true. There's a small tab that you can lift with a pointy object (like a knife) to losen them. I used them to hold a transformer in place before I got rid of my underbody kit.
to the inventor of zipties!
