i dont like how they look, but friends celica can beat the sti. I got to drive the celica and it pullled so hard in the higher rpm.

I'm going to assume your friend's Celica is modded or that the 'STi' was actually a WRX, 300hp/300tq and AWD would be some pretty stiff competition.

it is a fully built and stroked motor turbo charged, all trac celica, he is running 16lbs right now but blew his head gasket.

i hate wrx's, there or more of these out now than civics, its all i see. Whats so good about the car? awd turbo, so what?? they put down 180 whp.(ex sti)....they're striaght line killers yes, but maybe not so much in thier top end. my Si will be at 180whp soon and then to 225 whp....wrx wont have **** on me.... and I weigh less too.

i think the wrx is played out.

do you have a point to make? i stated my opinion, and i still feel that way. in fact, i talked to a wrx (not sti) owner last night who ageed with me also. it's a lot of body roll.

last night...it hurts.
