The Learning Channel (TLC). "RIDES" This episode is all about drifting and the US's entry with the buildup of their GTO. The sport is fairly cool but the cars KICK ***!! Turn on your damn tv's.

Jaja They Want To Bring A Gto Into A Japanese Sport Lol Is Like The Fast An The Furious Movie They Had To Bring The Muscle Cars Into An Movie About Import Cars .. The Car Is Allright But Needs A Sunroof. And With The Price Of That Car I Rather Spend It On Buyng A Real Drift Car Like A Silvia A Soarer Or A Supra Etc...

Rep Power: 275 I think you guys are kinda being tools about this whole GTO thing. Number one, they DON'T need a freakin sunroof. That only adds weight. You ever see a Type R with a sun roof? Two, YES they are putting tons of horsepower into it. That's one of the main components.......large power, rear wheel drive, E-brake, great braking system, correct suspension. Now tell me which one of those components the GTO doesn't have after being modded for the D1 drift class? The thing can't weigh any more than a Skyline because those things aren't exactly skinny. I'm not sure if you caught the part during the show when the Japanese were excited to see the Americans getting into the competition. Also, you guys don't think the US will make it, but didn't it make top 16 or even higher ON ITS FIRST ATTEMPT!!??
I'm not a huge domestic car fan, in fact, I hate most American cars but to defend the GTO, she has all the components and I think she may be a force to recon with. All that being said......give me my NSX anyday.
