or turbo the currnet one.. + add a vtec head... thats ur only choices.. both ways ur lookin over 3000+ parts only
wtf, have you ever driven a car as light as a civic w/ 250 hp?? why do you need so much, you'll kill yourself...
150-160 to the wheels is more than enough...
besides, I don't think the axles can hold that much

as from the thread starter stated, he wants extra ponies in his CIVIC, not no neon or another car.
if you dont race, its uneccesary to have major power in your civic. but if your looking for something to get to point A to B quicker with your previous motor, than your only choices are turbo or major internal engine work. turbo kits can boost you up to 160hp (which is a little hp but ******* fast on the civic chassis).fyi intake, header, exhaust will only produce like 4hp while robbing your low end and gaining little on high end.
i love people who come to a 7th gen civic website to talk about dodge a company that has no research and development team other than consumers, and does nothing to fix problems untill the next production year, PHWHWHHHHHHH

Play nice fellas....
1) You don't need 250hp if you aren't racing.
2) You should have bought a 250hp car if you wanted it
3) It will cost you 3-4k for a turbo kit, plus about 500-1k in yearly maintence costs.
4) You judge if you really need 250hp or not.
