My car will literaly spin the tires if im up in the revs in a turn and the VTEC engages, so inconvinent sometimes
vtec is awesome an yes i think is fun when ppl tak about vtec as if it was a turbo or something... if they say that is because they dont know anything bout cars specially hondas so why teach when ur not getting paid to. let them believe what they want to

I changed my wire cover with one from the lx so it just says HONDA instead of HONDA VTEC. People get all excited when they see something with vtec. Maybe Honda was the first to invent something like this?

Rep Power: 328 When will you people realize V-TEC is nothing more than a crutch to enhance fuel economy? The car runs on "econo" mode all day, and when it senses you need more power, engages V-TEC to further open the valves, and adjust timing. If you were smart, you'd just get the controller, and leave it on all the time.

Rep Power: 0 my vtec gives me an erection. but if you were to use a controller and turn your vtec on all the time it would damage the engine because the oil pressure wouldn´t be high enough. however if you got a blow off valve for you vtec you could have it running at idle

Man the flaming here is severe. Why do yall have to take the fun out of our stock EX's...those ***** be cool lol, and it is true that the little 12 hp (dare i say boost) that u guys think are so unkewl is hellza lot better than the LX (unless u just need a bone package value deal) make no mistake what ever type of engine it is, ITS STILL HONDA!!!
