new project...

i was bored today and decided to go to Autozone just to see the kinda rice that was there... anywho, i got an idea, im going to buy a generic chrome heat shield, sand it, and paint it high heat flat black. it should come out to the same cost as a real heat shield. so what do you guys think? bump it or dump it?

you should try it out.. the intake for my Z came with a heat sheild and i tried it with and without and the temp around the cone filter with the heat sheild is easily 30-40 degrees cooler
