Rep Power: 0 I've been with the last 3 generations of Preludes(owned them) and did many researches on that.....
$2000 for a 94 Prelude SI is fun....
Get 4WS if you care about cornering, the rear wheel will turn in the OPPOSITE direction of the front wheel at high speed, and SAME direction at low speed. The rear wheel also turns on camber angle too, just like the front wheel. Nice, but more weight.
Engine, H23A is a DOHC non-VTEC, with Intake Air Bypass(dual stage intake), still making some nice sounding pass 5500rpm. Compression ratio I think is the same as VTEC, at least 9.8 in '94.
BB chasis is a nice chassis(much stiffer than EK, also, much more expensive), so go with it, it worth more than $2000 alone. Even though BB2/BB4 was designed in 1991, the car still look much better than a lot of newer Honda's, especially EK Civic!
It may be good to exchange out all suspension parts and engine due to the age. But it's not going to be too expensive...
Sell the Civic and you will have a lot to go with.
IM me for more question.

Rep Power: 0 I don't see a Civic is more reliable than a Civic. Look at "Made in Japan" = QUALITY
Civic and Accord are purely American car anyway....And some Civic parts are made in our neigbor in the south....
